Iceberg was founded in 1939, when it started its activities selling ingredients for the production of ice cream, which gave rise to the name “Iceberg”.
In 1987, it started selling aromas, at which time it held around 80% of the market, becoming the leader in the Bakery segment in Brazil.
In 2000, Mr. Márcio Biasotto had just left the fragrance manufacturing and sales sector, when he was faced with the opportunity to acquire the Iceberg brand. His knowledge in the area was vast, but his passion for developing quality food products became even greater! This passion, which soon became the great motivation to expand the brand's business.
In 2017, the company, until then located in Jandira, now has Mr. Márcio's two daughters, Giovanna and Gabriela Biasotto, as a fundamental part of the company's future! From them came the initiative to take Iceberg to the confectionery segment, becoming known as Iceberg Chef. Soon, the space was getting small for so many achievements and dreams of this family, which led the company to move to Barueri, where today it has a complete infrastructure of a factory, logistic center, laboratory, offices, technical center and most importantly: a large team of professionals who wear the company's shirt.
The idea that previously only existed on paper has now become a great success! Currently, Iceberg Chef has a complete line of confectionery and bakery products, with more than 500 products, available in stores throughout Brazil. Making the life of confectionery professionals more practical, colorful, with affordable and high quality products is our true purpose!
